Young researchers program

The Frontier Science workshop is based on plenary sessions devoted in part to invited talks reviewing key topics in the field, and in part to presentations of new achievements by young researchers. Special awards, including credits for attending future conferences in the series, will be given for the best contributions presented at the workshop by young researchers.
The official E.U. definition of "young researchers" has been adopted: Young researchers are researchers up to an age limit of 35 years at the time of a particular Conference Event. Allowance will be made for compulsory military or civil service (actual time spent in military or civil service) and childcare (maximum 2 years per child for the actual time spent off work).
Young researchers interested in presenting a contribution on a topic related to the preliminary program should fill out the registration form and submit an abstract by July 4th, 2003. A limited number of contributions will be selected for presentation in the plenary sessions together with the review talks.
All authors should submit the abstract using the abstract submission form.

All abstracts not selected for presentations will be considered for the poster session and they will be published in the conference proceedings.
A special committee will assign awards, including credits for attending future conferences in the series, for the best contributions. These will be chosen on the basis of the importance and originality of the results presented, on the attractiveness of the presentation, and on the clarity of the exposition.
